WHEN IN ROME

For the first time since I began this blog all those years ago, this is the first weekend that I didn't

publish a post.

This lapse was due to the fact that at the time I was in Rome shaking the pope's hand.

I spent a wonderful week in Roma helping to chaperone a group of kids from Benedictine schools from  USA, UK, Germany, England, South Africa and Chile.

We did see everything on the itinerary (see last week's post). There were several high points, but shaking the pope's hand has to be have been right at the top.

I promise to write a lot more about the trip in the next post this coming weekend.  Talk to you then!
