For some reason, the only computer that lets me access my blog for editing purposes is this one, in my monastic cell.
Well, I just came up this minute using my walker to get a few things and then return to my room in the monastery infirmary,
On Tuesday Aug. 18 I had a very successful surgery to totally replace my left knee. The pain has not been too bad so far -- nothing like some of the stories I'd hear from years ago.
But I can say that the pain is enough that my mind isn't very good at abstract reflection these days. (Oxycodone can do that, too, I guess).
So, please do pray for my continued recovery, and we'll talk soon!
